About Shameer

Hello! I’m Sameer (You can call me Sam) and I’m thrilled to be your Physics teacher! With a Master’s Degree in Physics and over 3 years of teaching experience, I have dedicated my career to helping students discover the wonders of science.
My passion for Physics began when I realized how it explains the world around us—from the motion of planets to the principles of electricity and magnetism. I want to share this excitement with you because I believe that understanding Physics empowers you to think critically, solve problems, and make sense of everyday phenomena.
I see teaching as a two-way journey. Not only do I share knowledge, but I also learn from my students’ perspectives and questions.
Together, we’ll dive into captivating topics, tackle challenges, and connect Physics concepts to real-life applications. My goal is to inspire you to embrace learning, think independently, and develop a lifelong love for science.

About the lesson

My teaching is all about Interactive Learning, questioning and I incorporate resources such as videos, animations, and simulations to illustrate complex concepts visually. This helps cater to different learning styles and keeps students engaged.
I begin my class with a revision and the day's objective, and keeping the whole class active by inducing some fun facts.
The class gets guided practice and independent practice to reinforce their learning and I wrap up each lesson with a summary of key points. I also encourage students to reflect on what they've learned.

My enthusiasm for the subject is contagious, and I strive to inspire a similar passion in my students. I believe that when students see the relevance of Physics in their lives, they become more motivated to learn.
My classes are designed primarily for high school students (Grades 9-12), but I also enjoy teaching college-level students and adults interested in expanding their knowledge of Physics. I tailor my content and teaching methods to suit the varying needs and backgrounds of these diverse groups, ensuring that all students feel engaged and capable of mastering the material.
