About Rukhsar

Hello! I’m a passionate and qualified Mathematics tutor with an MSc in Mathematics and a B.Ed in Elementary Education. I have experience teaching primary and high school students, helping them improve their understanding of math, build confidence, and achieve better results.

I offer both online lessons in Canberra. My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether your child is struggling with basic concepts or aiming for high grades, I provide clear explanations and practical strategies to help them succeed.

Lessons are structured, engaging, and goal-oriented, and I am committed to supporting students every step of the way. I look forward to helping your child enjoy math and reach their full potential!

About the lesson

Techniques & Teaching Methodology

I focus on making learning simple, practical, and enjoyable.

I break complex concepts into small, understandable steps.

I use examples, visuals, and real-life applications to explain topics.

I encourage students to ask questions and think critically rather than just memorize.

I tailor my lessons according to the student’s pace and understanding.

Typical Length of a Lesson

1 hour to 1.5 hours is typical, depending on the topic and student’s level.

I structure each lesson with a quick review, main topic, exercises, and Q&A.

For younger students, lessons can be shorter (30–45 mins) to maintain focus.

Qualifications & Experience

MSc in Mathematics – strong theoretical and practical knowledge.

B.Ed (Elementary) – trained in teaching methods for children and beginners.

Experience tutoring students in mathematics and related subjects at school levels.

Comfortable with online tutoring.
