About Juan

Hey everyone!
My name is Juan and I recently graduated with an MSc in Natural Sciences, where I specialised in the fascinating world of quantum mechanics and spin chemistry. While I was studying at university, I discovered a passion for teaching, and it was there, that I began to tutor several online students through their GCSEs and A-Levels in both Maths and Physics.

As a recent graduate, I have recently navigated the modern exam system myself, I know what your children are going through, and my younger age helps me break down barriers, making lessons feel less like a rigid classroom and more like a collaborative study session. Apart from academics, I have spent time mentoring young people in various capacities, so I find them incredibly easy-going and genuinely enjoy connecting with them, meaning you can confidently trust me to create a comfortable, highly supportive environment for your kid to thrive.

I offer highly flexible, friendly lessons either online or in person across London. To ensure our time together is as productive as possible, I simply ask that any specific content or questions be sent to me a day or two prior to the lesson. This gives me the perfect opportunity to prepare tailored material that suits your child's learning style.

I would love the chance to help your child build real confidence in the lead-up to their exams, so let's do that!

About the lesson

My teaching is quite relaxed. Often students will have a hard time taking information in or even showing an interest in the subject because of the rigid classroom atmosphere. I have a lot of youth mentoring experience, and my main goal is to make our lessons feel comfortable, open and genuinely fun.

To make the most of our time, I usually ask that you send me the topics or questions you are struggling with a day or two before we meet. This allows me to custom-build our session so we focus specifically on your unique learning style.

Whether we are untangling A-Level Physics or tackling GCSE Maths, we'll break down the concepts into manageable, stress-free pieces. And make it easier for when exams come along!
