About Kadambari
I'm an MSc graduate in Strategy Management from Dublin City University, with a BBA in Human Resource Management (First Class Honors) from MIT World Peace University, Pune. I have a strong academic background in math and the sciences, along with hands-on tutoring experience gained through a Cork Regional Centre programme, where I supported students individually across different subjects and learning styles.
Beyond academics, I've spent the past year working in strategy and operations at Accenture, which has sharpened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and simply, a skill I bring directly into how I teach. I'm patient, structured, and genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence with numbers, not just get through the syllabus.

My approach to tutoring is built around understanding first, memorizing second. Many students struggle with math not because they can't do it, but because a gap earlier on was never fully closed. I start every new student with a quick assessment to find exactly where that gap is, then build a clear, structured plan from there rather than jumping straight into generic worksheets.
In lessons, I break concepts down into simple steps and use real examples to show why a method works, not just how to apply it. This is especially useful for arithmetic and geometry, where visualizing a problem often matters more than memorizing a formula. Once a concept clicks, I move on to practice questions that build up in difficulty, followed by past exam style questions where relevant, so students get comfortable applying what they've learned under exam conditions.
A typical lesson runs 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on the student's age, attention span, and the topic being covered. I keep a relaxed pace, encourage questions throughout, and always leave time at the end to recap what was covered and set light practice for next time.
I hold an MSc in Strategy Management from Dublin City University and a BBA in Human Resource Management with First Class Honors, along with a strong academic record throughout my own schooling in math and the sciences. I've also tutored students individually in the past, including through a Cork Regional Centre programme, which gave me hands-on experience adapting my teaching style to different learning needs.
