About Liam
I am a postgraduate Finance & Investment Banking student at Grenoble École de Management and a First-Class Economics & Management graduate from King’s College London. Through my academic journey and work experience in finance and analysis, I have developed strong analytical thinking, organisation, and communication skills.
Alongside my studies, I have worked with students in tutoring and childcare roles, as well as serving as a summer camp counsellor in the United States. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with students, build trust, and create a supportive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence.
I take a patient, structured, and encouraging approach to teaching. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to develop their confidence, independence, and long-term academic skills.

My lessons focus on building confidence in basic French through the development of the four key skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. As a First-Class King’s College London graduate and current MSc Finance student at Grenoble École de Management, I also bring real exposure to French language and culture from studying in France.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and use a variety of materials including slides, short videos, podcasts, and structured exercises to keep learning engaging and practical. I place particular emphasis on pronunciation, common language patterns, and everyday vocabulary so students can communicate more naturally. Homework is provided after lessons to reinforce new concepts and track progress over time.
I teach GCSE students and beginners, supporting those who want to strengthen their foundations, improve exam performance, or gain confidence speaking and understanding French.
