About Tanisha
I've been a teaching assistant in Java Programming for 2 years at King's College London where I've taught introductory Java programming to undergraduate computing students including both students who have never done programming before as well as students with prior experience.
I've interned for 2 consecutive years at Google in different countries and will be starting full time as a Software Engineer at the European headquarters in Dublin. I've also previously interned at companies including Siemens, Deutsche Bank & Tata Consultancy services and also been involved in programs at Facebook. I'm keen on teaching and mentorship roles and was also a campus ambassador for Deutsche Bank.

I enjoy teaching students who have never done coding before and I give a large importance to building on basic concepts including object oriented programming. I enjoy having an open and communicative teaching environment with frequent student interaction rather than a lecture based approach. I'd also like to encourage hands on teaching with practical projects and making sure the class is tailored to the students level.
