I am a 24 year old math tutor and teacher. I have been tutoring for over 12 years and teaching in a classroom for 3 years. I hope to help my students the same way all of my teachers helped me - by inspiring confidence in your abilities and teaching the problem solving skills you need to succeed.

Through my studies and teachings, I have delved into the work of teaching mathematics through problem-solving, where students play an active role in their learning and utilize technology to make meaningful mathematical connections. In my classroom, my goal is to create a student-centered learning environment where students construct their own knowledge and work together— it encourages students to explore, gives them confidence in their abilities, and maximizes their learning. I also believe it’s essential to incorporate social-emotional learning into the classroom to help students build social-emotional skills like managing their emotions, goal-setting, decision making, and building positive relationships.
