About Jim
My name is Jim, a 20 year old Motswana, currently studying Masters of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol. With 3 years of experience in both online and physical tutoring, I have honed my skills and knowledge-base in the context of effective communication to provide you with the best learning experience possible. My approach to teaching and learning is rooted in fostering a positive and engaging environment where you feel comfortable to ask questions, explore new ideas, and grow academically. Learning doesn't really have to be a bore.

For my educational background, I completed my GCSE's in 2021, obtaining 7 (A*'s), 3(A's) and 1 (B). across 11 subjects. {The UK version being 7 (9's), 3 (8's) and 1(7)}. I then went on to undertake the International Baccalaureate program from which I obtained a total of 40 points. {My higher levels being Math AA, Physics and Chemistry}.
Having completed my International Baccalaureate exams in November, I took up a job at my former school as Mathematics teacher for a duration of 8 months. For this role, I honed my past experience as a private tutor of Math, Physics and Chemistry, a side job I took up during the COVID-19 period. Together with the teachers I shadowed, I learnt the essence of communication and understanding that each student in their own way, deserves some form of support. For these tutorials, the average length would be 1 hour via any means of online communication. Lessons are available for any age group from GCSE to A Level/IB students.
