About Rasheka

Hi! I’m Rasheka, a third-year student at the University of Southampton studying Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics (MORSE). I believe that a great teacher can truly shape your understanding of a subject, making learning more enjoyable and accessible. My goal is to be that teacher for you—helping you build confidence, master key concepts, and develop a strong foundation in maths. I am passionate about mathematics because it is not only fascinating but also a valuable skill for life. However, I know that in school, it’s easy to feel lost or discouraged. That’s why I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students can progress at their own pace, focusing on both their strengths and areas for improvement. I also understand the significance of the 11+ exam—having successfully taken it myself, I know how much dedication and practice it requires. It opened many doors for me, and I want to help students achieve the same opportunities. With experience in 11+ tutoring and a strong academic background in Mathematics at university, I bring a deep understanding of fundamental mathematical concepts and an engaging approach to teaching. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring they not only improve their skills but also develop a genuine understanding and appreciation for the subjects I teach.

I offer engaging 1-hour lessons for students from primary school (11+) to A-level, covering both Mathematics and 11+ preparation. Creative & Clear Explanations – I use innovative methods to break down tricky concepts, making them easier to understand. Practice Makes Perfect – My lessons emphasise working through examples and tackling practice questions to reinforce learning. Proven experience – As a university student studying Mathematics as part of my MORSE degree, I have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts allowing me to make mathematics much easier to understand. Combined with my experience tutoring 11+, I adapt to different learning styles and help students grasp challenging topics effectively. Patient & Supportive – I create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and build confidence in their skills. Online tutoring available.
