About Didi
I have always had a passion for teaching. I genuinely enjoy the experience of teaching my students, learning from them, and creating bonds with them. My life experiences and the degree that I chose to study have taught me the art of patience and understanding. I have also learned that when creating an academic environment, it is important to be able to balance gentleness and sternness, freedom and rules, as well as work and play. I feel that I balance these things well. I believe very strongly in respecting others. I am an honest and straight-forward person. I am also very organized and good with time management.

I am an English speaking tutor. My lessons are geared at students at any learning level. I like to plan my lessons according to the unique needs and interests of my students. I start off with a generic lesson plan, and then continue to mold and change it as I get to know my student better. I try to keep my lessons dynamic and interactive because I believe that a disinterested or bored student is an ineffective one. I believe that striking a balance between having a free-flowing learning environment and goal-oriented lessons is extremely beneficial to the learning process. This is my number one rule. My teaching principles are: to challenge my students, to be patient with them, and to always encourage them and celebrate successes. I also hold the notion of respect in a high regard; I will respect my students by always striving to be punctual, working my best to help them get the results they want, and also in the way I speak with them and treat them. I do, however, ask that my students to show me that same respect.
