About Nicholas
I am completing a Double Degree at Monash University, for a Bachelor of Science (Mathematical Statistics) and a Bachelor of Computer Science (Data Science). I am a Data Scientist by training, enjoy mathematics and programming, and am proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese.

I strongly believe that learning hands-on is more effective as opposed to rote learning. As soon as an unfamiliar concept has been introduced, it needs to be applied immediately and consistently in order for students to grow comfortable in their understanding of the subject matter. I firmly believe that practice makes perfect, which is especially true when dealing with mathematical and programming concepts. I hope to not only cultivate an interest for mathematics and coding in my students, but to also fuel their desire to learn more about those topics in their own time.
