I have a master's degree in Applied Mathematics. I have worked as a decision scientist at Mu Sigma Inc., where my work comprised of closely working with developers, learning and growing with them. I have given Python and MATLAB lessons for 5 months.

My teaching method is focused on interaction and relevance, students learn it better if it is relevant to their lives. I base my classes on a brief background and motivation for the topic first, and delivering a thorough explanation of the topic then. After understanding a concept, comes the application. Having studied Applied Mathematics for five years, I have learned the importance of this part of learning. Knowledge of anything is pointless if you can't apply it. Explaining a concept through application is the key to understanding what it really means. I am always looking towards getting through to everyone in my class. I believe their doubts, however simple or complicated, need to be cleared in order to learn something bigger and better at a later stage.
