About Atharv
I’m currently studying Engineering at Monash University and have always enjoyed math, physics, and problem solving. I know these subjects can feel confusing at times, especially when things are explained too quickly, so I want to help students feel more confident and less stressed when learning.
I’m patient, easy to talk to and like explaining things in a simple way. I’ve also had experience mentoring and supporting students through my role as a Student Leader at Monash College, which helped me become better at communicating with different people.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping others understand difficult concepts and seeing them improve over time.

My lessons are focused on helping students actually understand the topic, not just memorize formulas. I like to break things down step by step, go through examples and then help the student try similar questions themselves so they can build confidence.
I can help with high school math and physics, especially students who feel a bit lost or need someone to explain things in a simpler way. Since I’m studying engineering at Monash, I’m comfortable with math-heavy subjects and problem solving.
A typical lesson would be around 1 hour, but I’m happy to adjust depending on what the student needs.
