About Urja
I'm a second year University student at Monash University, Clayton. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Actuarial Science and Bachelor of Commerce. I have been private tutoring high school students on and off for approximately 2 years for Mathematics. I mainly focus on ensuring that each student understands each concept they're studying from its root, and in the past my students have found this approach to be beneficial for their results.

My teaching method is to firstly ask the student which parts of a particular topic they struggle with before actually commencing doing any study on that topic. This allows me to place more focus on these points in order to ensure that the student does not struggle anymore. Whilst the student is doing questions or a practice exam, I tend to write down the topics where they make their mistakes the most, in order to place more focus on these topics as well.
