About Susannah

I am a Modern Languages student at the University of Sheffield who is passionate about learning and teaching Spanish, German and French. I have studied Spanish and German for over 10 years and recently completed a university placement in France. I have achieved A* at A-Level and GCSE in Spanish, so I know what the exam boards are looking for. I have also volunteered as a languages assistant at a secondary school, so I have experience providing tuition and helping students to prepare for exams. I can help you with anything you are uncertain of in a friendly, no-pressure environment.

About the lesson

Hola! I am a friendly and approachable tutor and will do my best to ensure that our sessions will be relaxed and low-pressure. If there are any issues that you want to focus on, I can tailor our sessions to your own particular needs and preferences. Let me know which exam board you are studying with for your Spanish GCSE or A-Level and I will customise our lesson content to conform with their requirements. I can help you with grammar, speaking, reading comprehension, writing and vocabulary. If there isn't any particular area that you want to focus on, I will incorporate all of these elements into our actvities.

I taught Susannah German Grammar for a year at university and was always struck by her outstanding ability, her commitment and her passion for languages . In addition, I found her to be down-to-earth and a very good communicator of ideas in the classroom. I am sure that she will make an excellent language tutor.

Susannah tutored me while I was studying for my Spanish GSCE and A level exams. She really helped to increase my confidence in speaking the language, which is what I struggled with most. I felt very comfortable practicing with Susannah as she was very attentive and was great at explaining the harder concepts clearly. I would recommend Susannah to anyone that is wanting to improve their Spanish at any level!
