About Alice
I'm a Modern Languages (French and German) graduate from the University of Birmingham and am currently doing an MA in European Studies in London. I am a well-prepared, organised and hard-working online French and German tutor. I concentrate on preparing students for their language exams or simply people who would like to learn out of interest.
Depending on your needs, I will tailor my lessons, whether that be speaking practice, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing or listening. Having learnt foreign languages myself for over decade, I understand how daunting it can be. However, we can make it more manageable together.
I have taught various students from all over the world from all different backgrounds. I enjoy helping my students understand and find it incredibly rewarding. I look forward to meeting you!

Hello/Bonjour/Hallo
Depending on the student's ability, a typical lesson may involve a few minutes recap from the previous lesson, checking the students understanding and answering any questions they may have. Following this, we may use visual aids (videos, online recordings, interactive games, online whiteboard) to explain a new grammar point, new vocabulary, or a new topic. Leading to a discussion and plenty of practice.
I am very happy to take on feedback and if the student has a specific way they like to learn, I will accommodate that requirement.
I offer a taster lesson of 30 minutes for FREE! Then if you would like to carry on with me, I will conduct a simple needs analysis in the next lesson and we will build on from that!
