About Lashanda
Precision drives my approach to piano instruction after 13 years of continuous teaching. I sit at the keyboard and demonstrate how pedalling technique and hand independence transform a simple melody into a complex arrangement. My classical training from the Royal College of Music informs every technical correction I provide.
Students ranging from nervous beginners to advanced exam candidates benefit from my structured methods. I teach music theory, chord voicing, and ear training to build deep competence. Memorisation techniques and scales are central to my work. Seeing a student finally master a difficult classical repertoire piece remains the most satisfying aspect of this career.

Struggling to find sheet music that captures the specific sound you want is a common hurdle I clear for students. I am midway through a project where we create custom sheet music arrangements for the songs you choose.
My methodology incorporates pop and contemporary styles alongside traditional accompaniment skills to ensure versatility at the 8.0 standard. Theory is the foundation of musical freedom.
These sessions balance technical rigour with creative expression. I expect discipline during our time together. We will get your playing exactly where you want it to be.
