About Virgil
Curiosity drives my approach to the keys. Music has been my quiet life since childhood. I possess an MMus in Piano Performance from Manhattan School of Music and have dedicated 13 years to teaching.
My focus remains on building technique without losing the joy of playing. I incorporate memorization techniques, rhythm, timing, chord voicing, posture, and hand position.
I also cover accompaniment skills, classical repertoire, sight transposition, jazz improvisation, scales, arpeggios, and grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity. Success is coming. I want to help you reach your musical goals.
