Hello! My name is Tomisin, and I'm a recent graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering and have 5+ years of professional experience teaching in both individual and classroom settings. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone should learn the language of mathematics. As a former options trader and computer scientist, math has been a significant part of my day-to-day. Unfortunately, I feel that many students have a difficult time with math because they've developed small gaps in their mathematical background that go unnoticed until a student reaches a stopping point where they feel "stuck" and can't understand why they're stuck. My goal is to help you identify those points in order to promote a strong mathematical foundation and to prevent this stopping point from occurring later on.
