About Alexandra
I am a dedicated teacher with 10 years of experience teaching people of all ages. I've taught preschool and I've tutored adults of all literacy levels. I have many years of experience coaching people with disabilities - lots of time doing hands-on job skills training.
I love to assist learners of all ages, backgrounds, and ability levels to reach the "lightbulb moment." It's a true joy of mine to see your face light up when this happens.
I aim to create a supportive, casual learning environment where you will feel confident asking questions and tackling challenging material. Together, we will focus on building a strong foundation, catering lessons to your preferred learning style, and developing the practical skills necessary for success.

Hi, I'm Alex. I specialize in turning complex, intimidating concepts into 'lightbulb moments' for my students.
My approach is student-centered; I don't lecture. We work through problems together interactively, focusing on the 'why' so you are able to tackle it independently.

Let's formulate your plans around you, as a person & learner.
We'll start the lesson going over previous concepts or where we left off during our last session together. We'll go to the next topic/concept, work together to come to an understanding (however works best for you), and before we part ways, we will recap the lesson with a quick wrap-up activity. You'll leave each session feeling confident.
Whether you are aiming for an A+, just trying to pass a course, needing help with a particular module, or just some helpful hints for your specific class:
