About Kayla
I have a passion for traveling, and have been to over 40 countries. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, crafting, and cooking.
I have spent over 5 years teaching middle school. I thrive in finding ways to make lessons engaging for youth, and look to utilize hands on resources and real-world connections as much as possible.

Students are free to bring their own assignments from class that we can work through and develop strategies to find a deeper understanding of concepts. Students may also provide me with a given topic and I will design a custom lesson plan to best meet their needs. My lessons are both engaging and interactive, utilizing hands on material when possible.
