About Kristin
Hi! I am Kristin and currently teach 8th grade Math in Colorado. I taught for 8+ years in New York City and moved my family of 6 to Colorado. I have taught middle school math and some high school math including Algebra, Algebra 2, and some Geometry. I do enjoy Calculus the most, but it has been years since I have taught it. I am always up for a good challenge. I love teaching math and most importantly love to change the stigma around math! I am always trying to make math relatable for students. Math can be a challenge for most people. I am trying to change your mindset around math so you can become comfortable learning math!

I have been teaching middle school and high school math for over 10 years. I love to make math engaging and relatable while creating a safe space for learning. Math is not easy and can be a challenge. I tell everyone that math is only 4 operations (psst that's easy!) the hard part is trying to figure out which one and when to use it!
I am here to help build your confidence in math and realize it is okay to make mistakes. We will learn from those math mistakes and get you to learning math in a way that makes sense for you! There is no one way to learn math and there is no one way to show your math. I am here to guide you!
