About Taylor
I have been a math teacher for over five years and have experience in public, private, charter, and international schools. I am most passionate about tutoring. My tutoring experience has been with community college students, middle and high school students. I have taught over 400 students, and all have received high school diplomas and/or Associate's Degrees.

I have a BA in Middle & High School Math Education from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. I have taught middle and high school math at private, charter, public, and international schools. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Education for Curriculum & Instruction through KU. I specialize in project-based instruction, but my structure online starts with questioning to assess the learner and make sure the content is relevant and helpful. After the first lesson, I start the class with a problem to work together. From the problem, we investigate different rules and concepts. I enjoy helping students feel confident in the small steps and am comfortable working with middle and high schoolers, college students, and people who are continuing education due to a career change.
