About Gaurav

During my education journey I had one question which was not always sufficiently answered: why? This further propelled my curiosity and made me delve deeper to the point that I wished someone told my younger self all that I know now but in a simpler way. Since that was impossible, so I followed the next best thing. Teaching others what I wish I knew in a simple and clear way. Thus begins the journey of this student who studied engineering and teaches computers and students alike, the complex yet beautiful phenomenon of our universe in a digestible way. Participating in many competitions, hackathons, olympiads and public speaking events over the years taught me two things: - computers are not much different from humans when it comes to learning - a small bit of technique can make one excel and go miles if only they borrow the wisdom. So here I am, sharing my knowledge in a tad unconventional, fun but tested and effective way in hopes of giving a head start to what I think is a challenging but amazing journey.

About the lesson

I believe in going the extra mile and providing that extra minute, that extra care and that extra attention which one misses out on in a regular course or a class full of bored students. A one-to-one tutoring never goes amiss. I try to involve the student as much as possible through online medium to make a fun and active learning environment.

Classes are of 1-2 hours and have the following structure:

- an example or illustration of the concept at hand
- why we need the concept
- the problem(s) addressed by the concept
- comparison with other alternative solutions
- exercises to learn the concept better
- reviewing solutions, providing guidance and feedback

The rigid and dogmatic refines of the classroom often limits the curiosity and imaginative faculties which is extremely crucial for learning. I personally believe it a duty of a teacher to invite the students to have their curiosity answered and imaginations sharpened by providing a fun, un-dogmatic yet structured environment for learning. This includes animations, open discussions and personal doubt solving.

My lessons are open for classes VIII to X for mathematics and for classes XI and XII on a trial basis
