About Alice
Hello!
My name is Alice and I'm a Mental Health Studies student at King's College, University of London. I previously studied my undergraduate degree at Goldsmiths, UOL and received a 2:1 in Psychology. My main areas of interest are affective disorders and substance misuse, and I am currently working on an audit of the NHS waiting time for accessing treatment for psychosis. I have a good knowledge of the main disciplines in psychology and statistics, and I am happy to tutor at both school and University level in these areas.
I often proof read academic essays for my course friends, and I enjoy sharing revision and study techniques that I develop to remember important information. Aside from my studies, one of my other passions is volleyball, for which I attend weekly training sessions. I also enjoy going running, and binge watching TV series on netflix when I have the time (or even when I don't!)
I have a relatively flexible schedule, as I am only in University two days a week and on placement one day a week. I am happy to work around a time that suits you best, and tailor our tutoring sessions to be as productive and personalised as possible. I am also happy to offer advice on University applications and personal statements if required, as well as CVs for job applications if needed.
