About Michael
I’m Michael. Alongside my studies, I have over a year of tutoring experience and have helped a GCSE Maths student improve from a grade 6 to a grade 9 in just three months. I achieved A*AA in Maths, Physics and Further Maths at A-level and I am currently studying MEng Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield. My engineering studies have given me experience tackling challenging problems, designing solutions and applying mathematical and physical principles in practical situations. I take pride in working towards high standards and enjoy helping others develop the same confidence and enthusiasm for STEM subjects. I am also Enhanced DBS checked.

I offer supportive, exam-focused tuition in GCSE and A-level Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I break down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and adapt lessons to each student’s needs. Lessons typically last 1 hour and combine teaching, worked examples, exam questions and targeted feedback. My lessons are suitable for students looking to build confidence, strengthen their understanding or push towards the highest grades.
