About Mitchell
Hello! I am a computer science student at The University of Melbourne in my third year. I have a great passion for both maths and physics and I achieved high grades in both maths and physics throughout high school and recognise the importance of understanding the underlying concepts and not just memorising formulae. I have tutored 6 students in maths ranging from year 7 to year 12 and am currently tutoring 1 student in physics who is in year 11. I have approximately 2 years of experience tutoring.

My lessons are designed for students who are struggling with the subject all the way to students with a strong passion for it. I will review relevant course material and be aware of the student's learning goals beforehand.
We will work through questions at first so I can become familiar with the student's methods and way of thinking. Wherever there is a challenge, I will use different approaches to the question/concept until we find one that helps the most. I will make sure to revisit similar questions (and design my own) so that the student can cement this newly founded knowledge. If the student is particularly passionate about the topic, I will endeavour to extend their knowledge and excite them by thinking about new possibilities.
On occasion, I will set homework so the skills can be revisited more frequently.
