About Shokat
I’m Shokat, a PhD Chemical Engineer and experienced tutor based in Melbourne. I teach high school Math and Chemistry, and university core Chemical Engineering, and Persian (beginner to intermediate). I teach because I love turning hard ideas into simple steps and seeing students gain confidence. My lessons use clear examples, pictures, and short practice tasks. I’m patient, organized, and supportive, and I give straightforward feedback and exam tips. My goal is for every student to make steady progress and enjoy learning.

I’m a PhD Chemical Engineer and experienced tutor. I teach high-school Maths and Chemistry, university Thermodynamics and core Chemical Engineering, and Persian (beginner to intermediate). I start with a quick check, then explain in simple steps with clear examples. I use real-world examples, pictures, and short practice tasks. I give feedback, optional homework sheets, and exam tips. Lessons are usually 60–90 minutes (university up to 120; Persian 60). For Years 7–12, undergrads, and adult beginners in Persian. Friendly, patient, and reliable.
