About Mustafa

Having studied Medicine for two years at Queen Mary University of London, I came to realise that Medicine is not where my passions lie and left university to study another course. That being said, I still have a genuine passion for science and have gained loads of practical experience and an in-depth understanding around how key chemical principles contribute to the physiology and anatomy of the human body, as well as how they relate to core physics concepts.

I love to tutor and teach, whether that's through helping friends get their heads around difficult concepts, hosting revision sessions for my peers, or providing 1-on-1 tutoring for students. I've done it all so I'm in a good position to take on any challenges thrown my way and adapt my approach to ensure I help you achieve the best results possible.

Some fun facts about me:
- I was born and raised in the UK
- I speak 4 languages: English, French, Arabic and Persian
- I have a passion for travelling and learning more about the world we live in. I've recently been on trips to Spain, Tunisia, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong
- In Feb I spent some time volunteering as a teacher at a school in South Africa - genuinely one of the highlights of my year!
- I love to play badminton with my friends and get out to make the most of the sun

About the lesson

I offer friendly, supportive GCSE & A-Level Biology tuition tailored to help students strengthen areas they find challenging. Having previously studied Medicine at university and with prior tutoring experience, I understand how to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable way.

Lessons are student-led: you tell me which topics you'd like to focus on, and we'll work through them together. If you're unsure where to start, I'll help identify your weaker areas and create a structured revision plan that suits your needs.

Sessions may include:

- Clear explanations and discussion-based learning
- Topic reviews
- Worked exam questions and exam technique
- Mark scheme analysis to maximise marks
- Practice worksheets and revision resources
- Diagrams and visual learning
- End-of-topic tests and mock exam practice

My lessons are designed to reinforce and consolidate content you've already covered at school rather than teach new topics from scratch. I tutor all GCSE exam boards, but prefer to tutor Eduqas/WJEC for A-Level.
