About Helena
I'm a medical student, but I love exact sciences, languages and art in general. I studied for a long period of my life several subjects and different areas of knowledge, which allowed me to learn the different ways of learning. Each being learns in a way, and it is up to the teacher and educational institutions to adapt to this.
I currently teach biology classes in a voluntary prep course, so even though I'm new, I have experience. But more than that, I have energy and desire to teach.

I always like to prepare the class well. I use visually pleasing slides, I bring visual materials to facilitate understanding (how to teach embryology with play dough) as well as questions, questionnaires and summaries to secure learning. I also like to bring curiosities about the subject to arouse interest. I study in the TBL format, so I respect the students' prior knowledge and I can always adapt the classes to the way the student understands best.
