About Robyn
A Chemistry PhD student at the University of Liverpool holding a Masters in Medicinal Chemistry with Pharmacology, an MRes in Biomedical sciences and translational medicine and holding a PGCE in Primary education with first hand teaching experience. Throughout undergraduate study I provided tutoring and mentoring to new students in mathematics and organic chemistry. I have continued to provide Mathematics tuition since returning to my PhD study as a student demonstrator employed by the university. I have experience teaching a variety of age groups from primary through to undergraduate. I have recently embarked on a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and wished to use my spare time to share my understanding of the sciences.

Providing tutoring centered around pupils needs allowing pupils to direct their learning to reach their goals. I will use a combination of targeted lessons and exam-style questions to enable pupils to apply their knowledge to a variety of situations.
Initial lessons will focus on identifying individual targets and areas where pupils feel less confident before working on consolidating understanding and applying that understanding to solving problems.

Perfect! Robyn has helped my daughter greatly in understanding chemistry by making each lesson enjoyable.
Perfect! Couldn’t recommend enough! Robyn helped me massively with different Alevel chemistry modules, helping me understanding and prepare for exams and course work. I felt a lot more supported during my lessons than in college.
Robyn really took the time to go through different modules and ensured I had a good understanding of everything I was struggling with in my classes. I work full time alongside doing a course and Roybn was really flexible and got back to me with any questions quickly.
