About Sharon

Hi! My name is Sharon and I am in my fourth year of medical school. I am passionate about teaching and have several years of experience helping students reach their full potential. For two years, I have worked as an extra teacher and substitute teacher for students from elementary school to high school, where I have taught most school subjects. In addition to my teaching experience, I have been a leader and coach in martial arts – a sport I have practiced since the age of six. This experience has developed my leadership, my pedagogical skills and my ability to motivate and adapt teaching to each student's individual needs. As a medical student, I have a strong academic background and know what it takes to succeed in studies. I teach history, Swedish, English, social studies, geography, religion, biology, philosophy and psychology. My teaching is characterized by clarity, structure and commitment, with the goal that each student will develop both their knowledge and their self-confidence in a safe and motivating learning environment.

About the lesson

I offer personalized history lessons for students from elementary school to high school. Whether the goal is to improve grades, prepare for national exams, develop source criticism and historical analysis, or get support with homework, assignments, and oral presentations, we work together towards clear and long-term results. My teaching is based on structure, clarity, and pedagogical explanations that help students understand historical connections, causes, and consequences – not just memorizing years and events. I adapt each lesson to the student's level of knowledge and goals, and provide continuous feedback to strengthen both knowledge and self-confidence. The lessons are online and the first lesson is free of charge. We then map the student's needs, goals, and prerequisites to design an individual study plan. In addition to history, I also offer lessons in Swedish, English, social studies, geography, religion, biology, philosophy, and psychology for students from elementary school to high school.
