About Raina

Hello! I’m a first year university student studying medicine in Manchester. I studied Biology, Chemistry and English Literature at A levels. I also took a gap year! I can help with medical applications specifically - having applied to medicine twice now too :) I have had lots of previous teaching experience with students as young as 8 to students aged 14 at school and at local extracurricular establishments. I volunteered at my school to provide lessons for children struggling with their science subjects, particularly Chemistry and Biology. I have also assisted with improving essay writing skills by teaching how to structure essays and break down the question and establish a clear focus. I have flexible timings and hope to be of some help with your academic endeavours! :)

About the lesson

Teaching style: -content and theory introduction and practice questions with recap every lesson -whiteboard style lessons - online lessons only - 60 minute lessons - preferably weekly sessions or sessions at regular intervals Qualifications: -A's and A*'s at GCSE in all teaching subjects -Previous teaching experience at local language school (2 years) Can teach Maths, Sciences and English lit and lang up to GCSE and can teach Chemistry, Biology and English Lit at A level
