About ASHWINAA

Hey there! I’m a medical student at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and I’ve been tutoring since my high school days. I also achieved 95> (A*) for all my IGCSE and A-level subjects including Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Over the last six years, I’ve worked with many students, including those with learning disabilities, and it’s been amazing to see them grow and succeed. I genuinely believe that education can change lives, and I’m here to support you every step of the way!

About the lesson

My classes are suitable for students of all levels including IGCSE/GCSE, Junior and Leaving Cert, pre-university including pre-med , foundation in science and A-Levels.

Approach to Tutoring:

I believe that effective tutoring is about fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs. My teaching methodology combines a mix of interactive lessons, practical exercises, and targeted feedback to ensure that concepts are not just understood but mastered.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology:

Interactive Learning: I encourage active participation through discussions and problem-solving activities.
Personalized Lesson Plans: After the first trial class, I provide a detailed lesson plan that outlines our goals, topics, and resources. This helps students understand the path ahead and stay organized.
Pre-Shared Materials: All notes and exercises will be shared with students in advance, allowing them to prepare and engage with the material effectively.
Typical Length of a Lesson: Each lesson is typically 1 hour long. This duration is ideal for students to absorb the content without feeling overwhelmed, promoting better retention and understanding.

Qualifications and Experience: I have been tutoring for over 6 years, specializing in primary and high school students, including those preparing for IGCSE and GCSE exams, Junior and Leaving Cert and pre-university students. My experience has equipped me to address various learning styles and challenges, ensuring that every student reaches their potential.

Target Audience: My lessons are suitable for primary, and high school students of all ages and pre-university students, particularly those studying the Irish Junior and Leaving Certificate, IGCSE and GCSE curricula.
