About Roshid
As a current medical student, I have recent knowledge of what it takes to go through the endless numbers of exams and hope to use this to guide prospective students. My experience as a F2F and online mathematics tutor is perfect to provide support to anyone who struggles with this subject and the sciences. I have the belief that the best way to learn is to teach and teaching will help the both of us to learn different things along the way. Due to my background, if tutoring GCSE students, I look to support students who are studying Edexcel mathematics and / or AQA mathematics, biology and chemistry specifically. As someone who has taken tutoring lessons before, I know how important it is for teachers to teach the content effectively in an easy-to-approach manner. I do this through a combination of theory and practice questions to reinforce the concepts we learn. Step 1: Together we establish a baseline. I understand what you would like out of our lessons and what resources will need to be provided. Step 2: Together we learn the knowledge and put this into practice. A favourite of mine is exam questions to mimic the real thing. Step 3: Together we review what we have done. You ask the questions to really solidify everything and homework is then set to continue to reinforce our learning. I do find that it’s always helpful for students that I teach to know where they need help and the resources that they think could support them, but this is something I am always open to discuss! A lesson will normally last for at least 1 hour.
