About Dania
Hi, I’m Dania. I decided to start tutoring because I know what it feels like to struggle with a subject and then suddenly have that “lightbulb moment” when it all makes sense. Helping students reach that point, where they not only understand the material but also feel confident in themselves, is what motivates me most. As a medical student, I’ve learnt how powerful the right techniques, encouragement, and guidance can be. I bring that into every lesson, creating a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing. For me, tutoring isn’t just about grades, though those matter too, it’s about showing students that they are capable, building their confidence step by step, and helping them realise their full potential.

My Tutoring Approach I take a student-centred, adaptable approach to teaching. My focus is on building both understanding and confidence through clear explanations, active recall, past paper practice, and interactive discussions. I use diagrams, analogies, and step-by-step guidance, always tailoring lessons to the student’s pace and learning style. Lessons usually last 60 minutes and follow a simple structure: quick recap, focused teaching with practice, then a summary and key takeaways. I’m a medical student with experience tutoring GCSE and A-level sciences, including supporting students with individual educational needs. I also mentor those preparing for medical school applications (UCAT, interviews, personal statements). My lessons are best suited for GCSE and A-level students aiming to boost grades, and aspiring medical students who want tailored preparation.
