About Liz
I'm a medical student in TCD and have tutored and mentored on a voluntary and casual basis, from subjects like mathematics to chemistry to English, from peers my age to young children. I find it hugely rewarding and try my very best to help my students reach the "Eureka" moment, when they finally grasp the concept and find out how it applies, which is the reason why I love learning and teaching! In my spare time, I really enjoy writing, playing musical instruments, swimming (competitively in the past), baking/cooking, and spending time with my family and in my village.

A main component of my classes would be Q&A sessions, focusing on questions most relevant to the student, rather than forcing a standard lesson plan and repeating familiar topics. However, I understand how crucial Past Year Questions are and emphasise on those for older students preparing for major exams. Indeed, asking questions and strategic use of Past Year Questions are a huge part of what carried me through my schooling years with success.
