About Natasya

Hi! My name is Natasya, and I’m currently a medical student at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Having lived abroad previously, I completed both my IGCSE and A Level studies, which gave me first-hand experience with international examination systems. I achieved A in Physics and Chemistry* and an A in Mathematics at the IGCSE level. These experiences not only strengthened my academic foundation but also helped me develop effective study methods, exam strategies, and problem-solving techniques that I now want to share with other students. I decided to start tutoring because I understand how challenging these exams can be—and I know that with the right guidance, mindset, and study approach, students can achieve their best results. My goal is to make learning clear, enjoyable, and confidence-building, helping each student reach their full potential. I teach mainly IGCSE students (Pearson Edexcel), but I can also adapt my lessons for those following the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and focused on both understanding the theory and mastering exam technique.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is structured yet flexible, focusing on helping students fully understand both the content and exam techniques required to achieve top grades. I start by going through the official specification to ensure all syllabus topics are covered in detail. I then simplify hard theory concepts, breaking them down into clear, easy-to-grasp explanations using examples and logical steps. Throughout the lessons, I provide exam-focused tips, including how to interpret questions, plan answers, and manage time effectively during the exam.

Each lesson typically lasts a minimum of one hour, depending on the student’s pace and the complexity of the topic.

In terms of experience, I have been tutoring family friends who are preparing for this level of examination, and so far, all of them have passed successfully.

I achieved A* in Physics and Chemistry, and A in Mathematics at the IGCSE level, which gives me a strong foundation to guide students through these subjects.

My lessons are mainly for IGCSE students (Pearson Edexcel), but I can also adapt my teaching for those following the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus.
