About Jinna
I have many years of experience teaching GCSE and A level maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I work towards identifying the blocks that students face in understanding concepts and find personalised ways to help them overcome these various academic challenges. Everyone has different ways of understanding concepts and I aim to use various approaches and examples to help speed up the ‘click’ of ideas! I have experience self-studying for the IGCSEs and have achieved A* in all maths and science subjects. My experience as a medical student has also given me invaluable professional experience communicating with all age groups!

Whilst personalised to each student, a general structure will involve: - discussion of aims, what you want to achieve through these lessons - exploring the content, such as explaining concepts and teaching through demonstrating examples and analogies - guiding you through practice questions and identifying any additional areas of need to expand on to help you build confidence Depending on the student’s goals and what they want to get out of the lessons, we can go through content taught during lessons or focus on specific tests and exams with close guidance of the specifications/curricula. The length of the lessons may be discussed but ultimately be up to the student.
