About Amber
I am a medical student studying at Imperial College London, currently in my 4th year. I have been giving lessons since October and have tutored in English at Secondary School level and GCSE as well as Maths at GCSE level so far. I have taken maths, biology and chemistry to A level achieving AAA*. I also took an English Literature AS level achieving an A.

I give lessons to GCSE students or younger in Maths, English and Chemistry. My teaching methodology first consists of a conversation with the student about their aims and then an assessment to get an idea of where the tutoring is needed. Then we will work on a different topic every lesson until the student is comfortable with the majority of topics. For English, lessons will consist of discussions, analysis of texts and practice writing opportunities. Lessons will start with a warm up exercise or discussion. Exam questions will be used to test the student towards the end of the lesson.
