About Afua
I am a medical student taking a year out to do research at Imperial College London this year.

Over the years, I have definitely found that the two most important aspects of studying are:
1) Understanding
2) Repetition
I want to ensure that all of my students actually have a good understanding of the key concepts in maths. This avoids the need to cram and just memorise. Honestly, it makes studying so much more interesting. Can never understand how or why people say ' I just love maths' ? - this is why! When you understand it, studying becomes more like a puzzle or a game.
In addition, repetition is also really important! Working little and often ensures that short term memories are converted to long term and hence stay with you for as long as you need.
