About Iris
My name is Iris, I’m a first year medical student at KCL, and I’m super excited to tutor anybody that feels like they need a push in the right direction! I’m from Wales but moved to London for university! I love a chat, and I love inspiring others and showing students that learning can be fun!

Tailoring each lesson to the student’s best interest, I always ask students what they want to focus on, allowing us to tackle weaker topics, whilst also helping them understand each question. I am patient, always willing to explain around the underlying theory of a question, digging deeper than surface level! I also truly understand that STEM is not everyone’s strong suit, so I preplan lessons accordingly, mixing easy and more challenging questions so all students feel empowered! Each lesson is 60 minutes!! Achieving 4 A*s at A level in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Fine Art (and 10 A*s at GCSE) allows me to have a great understanding of balance and question types at GCSE and A level!
