About Ken
Hi, my name is Ken and I am a 2nd year medical student at Hull York Medical School (HYMS). I had interviews at Cardiff, HYMS and Newcastle, and received an offer from HYMS. I achieved 2950 in the UCAT. I have been tutoring students for over two years in various subjects, including Maths, Chemistry and Biology, and have been tutoring UCAT and medicine interview for over a year. I have helped numerous students improved their UCAT score by 200 in 2 weeks. Moreover, I have tutored several students for UCAT and med school interview in which some of them successfully obtained at least 1 offer.

The lesson length is usually one hour, although this can be adjusted according to your needs. I usually ask my students which area they want to focus on before the lesson, and give them lots of practice during the lesson so that they can consolidate their knowledge. For interview preparations, I would also do a mock interview close to the actual interview with the student to give them a feel of how the interview will run. I have taught a student for medicine interview earlier this year and she got into Nottingham medical school. Moreover, I have taught several students for UCAT before and helped one to boost their score by over 150 in one week.
