About Tejeshwar
I am a 2nd-year medical student, completed my studies in India till 12th, currently pursuing MBBS from Russia.
I know why and how students find subjects difficult since even I have been in their place before, not so recently ago. I just want to make sure that students understand things better and faster, and overall just build more knowledge!

About the lesson

Personal focus with unique teaching methodology! Includes active recall, self preparation tips, help with school work. I focus on the biology subject for students of class 8-10.
For a 60 minute session, I include all these:
First 10 minutes - Active recall: 4-5 questions from the past session to see how much the student has understood, this causes long term retention, understanding the topic
Doubt clearing: 5-10 min — go through homework or anything they say as confusing. Let them explain their confusion in their own words first, usually reveals the misconception faster, and then I explain it.
New concept: 30 min — teach chapter, ideally diagram first if required, drawing it live rather than showing the finished version, this creates better understanding
Active practice and summary: 10 min - do questions related to the day's topic, students explain their reasoning out loud as they go. After this, they summarise what they have learnt on the day.
After the class, I give them specific tasks, like 'answer these PYQs', or 'draw/label this diagram from memory'
