About Michael
I have 8 years of experience tutoring undergraduate students in various mathematics and science courses including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Multivariable Calculus, Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Genetics, Chemistry I and II and Organic Chemistry. I enjoy getting to know my students and learning what teaching method works best for them.
I attended California State University, San Bernardino and graduated with a Pre-Medical Biology Degree in 2014. During my undergraduate years I worked as a teaching assistant in a Genetics lab. I went on to attend medical school at Western University of Health Sciences and graduated this year with my medical degree.
I look forward to tutoring you and will make sure you grasp those difficult to learn concepts! In addition to helping you learn I also enjoy giving college and career guidance.

On an individual basis, I attempt to create lessons around the learning styles of my students. I have my students complete an online assessment that will reveal their individual learning style and I create lessons that support this.
In a group setting, I attempt to create lessons that will reiterate topics in different learning styles.
