About Deborah
I love teaching and hope to inspire and enthuse my students. I plan lessons depending on the needs and desires of the student and what they wish to achieve. I am flexible, confident and reassuring. Being a mum I am aware of the benefits of positive reinforcement for good work but also gentle correction and encouragement when things are hard to grasp or not done well. I have excellent communication skills and would hope that as your tutor, we could work together to achieve the best from you or your child in whatever subject you need help with.

I have taught classes of students up to 40 at a time but also one to one and all class sizes in between. I am used to adapting material to the needs of the student and designing lesson plans as well as curriculae, individual learning plans and assessments. I have worked in a range of countries so can adapt to different exam boards and methods of learning and have worked with students of various backgrounds and levels of English, as well as with disabilities. Lesson lengths vary depending on the age and needs of the students and I am happy to work with anyone of any age.
