About Fisayo
I'm Dr. Fisayo, a qualified Medical Doctor based in Manchester. I studied Medicine and Surgery and have been working clinically in a hospital setting, which means Biology isn't just something I studied years ago. I use it every single day.
I've always enjoyed the teaching side of medicine. During my clinical work I regularly taught and mentored junior doctors and medical students, and I found I genuinely loved helping people understand difficult concepts. That's what brought me to tutoring.
Biology was my favourite subject long before medical school and that enthusiasm comes through in how I teach it. I'm patient, I take my time with students, and I don't move on until something actually makes sense.
Outside of medicine I enjoy reading and exercise.

I'm a Medical Doctor and I teach Biology online to students at GCSE, A-Level and IB level. My lessons are one hour long and fully tailored to each student.
A big part of my job as a doctor is explaining complex biological and medical things in a way that people can actually understand. I do it every day with patients and colleagues, so it comes naturally in a tutoring setting too. When we cover topics like genetics, the immune system, physiology or cellular biology, I explain them the way they actually work in real life, not just for the exam. Most students find things click much faster that way.
I don't follow a fixed lesson plan. I find out where you're struggling first and we work from there. Every student is different and I think lessons should reflect that.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-Level and IB Biology students. I also work with students applying to medical school who need UCAT preparation. I cover AQA, Edexcel, OCR and CIE exam boards.
