About Emily
I am a medical doctor who is looking to explore other interests after 5 years of working in the NHS. I have a keen interest in psychology and currently completing a graduate skills in counselling course - in a few years I hope to become a fully qualified psychotherapist. I'm also currently completing my yoga teacher training. I have travelled lots throughout south east Asia, Australia and New Zealand and so have some interesting stories to share. I love reading and creative writing, and have played tennis to a very high standard although now I just play for fun!

I am a qualified medical doctor with over 400+ hours of tutoring experience in maths and sciences, as well as 11+, 13+ and university admissions. A particular strength of mine, perhaps from my experience working in the NHS, is to be able to build strong relationships with people, something I feel is crucial in order to be able to learn effectively. I focus on real understanding of subjects rather than rote learning and take a holistic and creative approach to my learners.
