About Derek
I’m currently a third-year medical student at St. George’s University, where I’ve completed an extensive foundation in biological and medical sciences. My academic background has required me to master complex scientific concepts and communicate them clearly. I approach every session prepared, patient, and focused on creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and build genuine confidence in the material.

I’m a third-year medical student with a strong background in biology and the sciences. My goal is to make difficult concepts feel simple and approachable rather than relying on memorization. I work through problems step-by-step, use visuals and real-world examples, and adapt explanations to how each student learns best. Whether you’re working through Biology, AP Biology, or simply trying to strengthen your science foundation, I want you to leave each session understanding not just the answer, but why it makes sense.
