I tutor GCSE Mathematics and aim to make each session clear, engaging, and confidence-building. My approach focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, logical steps and helping students build problem-solving skills. Having been a student myself, I understand how difficult it can be to stay focused for long periods of time. That’s why I limit my lessons to a maximum of 1 hour (occasionally extending by 5 minutes if needed). This ensures students stay engaged, avoid mental fatigue, and leave each session feeling motivated rather than overwhelmed. Each lesson is 55 minutes long, structured as follows: • Warm-up and recap – 10 minutes • Teaching the core topic – 20 minutes • Practice questions and walkthroughs – 15 minutes • Summary, feedback, and focus for the next lesson – 5-10 minutes I have 6 months of experience tutoring with MyTutor, where I’ve supported students of varying abilities. My lessons are tailored to suit the student’s level and exam board, with a focus on strengthening weak areas and improving exam technique.
